April Construction Update

During peak construction season which is typically April through October, the City sends out weekly road and traffic reports each Friday to help members of the community plan the quickest, safest and most reliable routes to their destinations. Construction Updates

• Construction will commence next week and will include the installation of a water line and preliminary earthwork/grading at the location of the future Murphy Road extension. This work will have little to no impact on the travelling public.

Surrounding Area Project Updates

• Several improvement projects in close proximity are underway, and others are starting on 15^th Street. Click here view a full list of Southeast Area Improvement Projects.

• Bend-LaPine School District is beginning offsite work for the new high school. Work will include building a roundabout at Knott Road and SE 15th Street, constructing a local access road, and constructing multi-use paths surrounding the perimeter of the site and connecting to Alpenglow Park and SE 15th Street. Building construction is slated to begin in July.

• Roats Water System is beginning irrigation work near 15^th Street.
