Bear Creek & 27th Street Project Update – Sept 12, 2025

BEAR CREEK ROAD AND 27th STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Landscaping, illumination, signage, striping, and final concrete flatwork will be completed during this two-week period at the roundabout. Concrete flatwork and asphalt paving will also be completed during this time on 27th Street. The roundabout is still on schedule to be completed in October.

Please continue to use the marked detour to navigate around the closure at Bear Creek Road, Pettigrew Road, and Purcell Boulevard. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue working to improve safety and connectivity in the area.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Weeks of September 15-19 and September 22-26

• Roundabout:
  Streetlight installations
  Final concrete flatwork
  Sign installation
  Striping
  Landscaping
   
• 27th Street:
  Concrete forming and pouring for ADA ramps
  Stormwater infrastructure
  Path Paving
  Wall construction

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

• Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
• Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
• Daytime work hours are in effect from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.
• The roundabout is still on schedule to be completed in October.
