Bear Creek & 27th Street Project Update – Sept 26, 2025

BEAR CREEK ROAD AND 27th STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Continued work on landscaping, illumination, signing, and striping as well as paving all outstanding asphalt approaches will be completed during this two-week period at the roundabout. Concrete flat work, asphalt paving, and shoulder rock installation will be completed during this two-week period on 27th Street. Please be sure to use the marked detour to navigate around the closure at Bear Creek Road, Pettigrew Road, and Purcell Boulevard.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Weeks of Sept. 29 – Oct. 3, and Oct. 6 – 10

  • Roundabout:
    Asphalt approach paving
    Streetlight installations
    Final concrete flatwork
    Sign installation
    Striping
    Landscaping
     
  • 27th Street:
    Concrete forming and pouring for ADA ramps
    Stormwater infrastructure
    Path Paving

    Utility box modifications

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during or after hours.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.
  • The roundabout is on schedule to be completed in October.
