Butler Market Road Improvements Project Update – September 30, 2025

PROJECT UPDATE

Access to Butler Market Road from Roxy Place will be temporarily closed beginning Thursday, October 2. Access to Rumgay Lane is open.

Westbound Butler Market Road is closed from Brinson Boulevard to Eighth Street and construction is underway. To reduce traffic impacts, Eastbound Butler Market Road will remain open during construction. 

Please use extra caution when traveling in the area. Allow extra time for travel and follow the posted westbound detour via Brinson Boulevard. (See detour map)  

Stay Safe – Keep out of the construction zone.

NOTE: Dates are subject to change. 

Improvements Above and Below Ground 

Once complete, the project will deliver a long-desired upgrade to intersection safety and travel reliability, sewer system improvements, and safer connections for pedestrians and bicyclists traveling between neighborhoods, schools, parks, and businesses in the area.
