Roundabout Safety Tips

• Reduce speed.
• Don’t stop in the roundabout.
• Those in the roundabout have the right-of-way.
• Don’t change lanes in the roundabout-crossing over the outside circulating lane is fine if you are exiting from the inside lane.
• When approaching the roundabout, choose the correct lane:
• Don’t pass.
• Don’t drive next to oversized vehicles.

Butler Market Roundabout Openings

• The west leg of Butler Market Road and 27th Street roundabout will open in late September
• The section of Butler Market Road between Deschutes Market Road and Eagle Road will open in early October.
• The intersection at Eagle Road and Butler Market will be closed until early October to accommodate roundabout construction.
• The east leg of the Deschutes Market roundabout is scheduled to open in late September.
