Newport Corridor Improvements Project Update – March 10, 2023

SAFETY FIRST

As we gear up for construction season in Central Oregon for 2023, it’s important to plan ahead to avoid any unexpected delays.

Fortunately, the City of Bend has made it easy for you to stay informed, bendoregon.gov/traffic. They provide each project’s traffic control changes to popular navigation apps, so you can easily plan your route around any closures and designated detour routes.

Checking these services regularly can save you from finding out too late that your usual route is now one-way or a dead end. To be safe, consider leaving 5-10 minutes earlier than planned to account for any unforeseen delays. Let’s work together to keep traffic flowing smoothly during construction season.
