Newport Corridor Improvements Project Update – March 18, 2022
SAFETY FIRST
Pedestrian detours are put in place for one primary reason, to improve the safety of the construction project. But these detours are designed to maintain access to your favorite businesses that are adjacent to the construction.
As construction on Newport Avenue continues, access to businesses remains open! Crews are busy replacing the aging infrastructure on and under Newport Avenue, but you can still access all your favorite businesses.
Blue “Business Access” signs indicate business access in the corridor and along the detour route.
It is easy to find the driveway/alleyway access points to your favorite businesses by following the signs with arrows.
