Septic to Sewer City Council “Listening Session”

Greetings everyone –

This message is a reminder that the Septic to Sewer City Council “listening session” is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, in Council Chambers at City Hall, 710 NW Wall Street. This listening session will allow members of the community to share their thoughts with the Council, but will not be a Council deliberation or back-and-forth question-and-answer conversation.

If turnout exceeds the two–hour time allotted for public input, and if Council would like to extend the listening session to an additional meeting, we have secured the Bend Senior Center for the evening August 29. Comments can also be submitted to Councilors in writing at council@bendoregon.gov.

Parking at City Hall may be limited due to anticipated attendance. Although we will work to free up additional parking around City Hall, we strongly encourage neighbors to carpool and to use the parking garage a couple of blocks away at Oregon and Minnesota avenues. For this occasion, we have decided to make parking in the parking garage free from 2 p.m. on.  Here’s a map of downtown parking.
