URAB #2

At the second URAB meting, the board discussed a set of Guiding Principles which will be brought back for the committee to review at their next meeting. In addition, the committee received a presentation on the fundamentals of Urban Renewal and Tax Increment Financing. They explored the existing conditions of the study area by understanding the urban design framework and development feasibility of the area and its various subareas today.

Following these presentations, the board had a discussion regarding what priority development and investment outcomes are needed in each subarea. A summary of this discussion will be included in an update of the Urban Design Analysis at the next URAB meeting which is scheduled for May 14th from noon-3pm at Bend Municipal Court located at 555 NE 15th Street Bend, OR.
