Bend recently won the American Water Works Association’s Best Tasting Water contest for the Cascade to Coast Subsection for the 4th year in a row. The City is working hard right now to keep that award-winning water source available for our customers. Here’s a shot of the new water pipeline going in at the top of Skyliners Road. Crews fuse hundreds of feet of pipe together above ground, then set it into the trench. 18 more truckloads of pipe are on the way. Find out more.
The walls for the city’s new water treatment plant are going up quickly. The first membrane filtration units are scheduled to arrive in a few weeks. Find out more about the plant’s technology and why the city is building it.
The Southeast Sewer Interceptor project is moving up Chloe Lane near 15th St. in Bend. The trench will be 30 to 40 feet deep. Find out more on how this new sewer line will make a difference citywide.
