Weekly Construction Update

Construction activities for the upcoming week include:

  • Construction of the retaining wall.

  • Murphy Road sidewalks will be prepped, and crews will pour curbs.

  • Crews will prep the roundabout for concrete.

  • Power trenching and streetlight base installation will continue.

Thank you for your patience during construction. Please be extra vigilant in the school zone and slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

ROAD CLOSURE/DETOUR INFORMATION

Northbound and southbound traffic on Brosterhous Road are closed at Murphy Road through early May (weather dependent). Local access to residences is being maintained on Brosterhous Road to Murphy Road.

SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC
The detour for southbound traffic begins at Brosterhous Road and American Lane. Southbound traffic approaching this intersection will encounter a ‘road closed, local access only’ sign.

NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC
The detour for northbound traffic along Brosterhous Road will include a temporary two-way bypass road connecting Murphy road to Brosterhous Road south of the intersection.
