Construction of the Murphy Corridor Improvements on 15^th Street began on Monday, August 12^th.

This Week’s Activities

Construction activities the week of August 19^th include:

• 15^th Street and Murphy Road roundabout excavation and subgrade work
• Installation of illumination pole on Chloe Lane
• Prepping west 15^th Street sidewalk and construction of the curb between Chloe Lane and Ferguson Road 

Detour and Traffic Impacts

15th Street is closed to southbound traffic at Ferguson Road with local access to Chloe Lane. Northbound 15^th Street remains open with a temporary reduced speed of 25 MPH through the construction work zone, from Humber Lane to Ferguson Road. 

Please continue to use detours or alternate routes. We encourage motor vehicle traffic on neighborhood streets to drive at or below designated speed limits and be cautious of bicycle and pedestrian/student traffic and construction workers.

There are a number of projects affecting traffic patterns throughout the City of Bend. Please slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
