Weekly Construction Update Week of October 28th

Construction of the 15^th Street roundabout and sidewalk extension project is anticipated to be completed by Friday, November 1, pending installation of lights and no adverse weather conditions.

Construction activities for the upcoming week include:

• Completion of road striping on 15^th Street, Chloe Lane, and Ferguson Road.
• Boulders will be placed as part of the landscaping work.
• Installation of the new waterline, parallel to the BNSF railroad tracks on Bend Parks and Recreation District and Bend-LaPine School District property, will continue over the next several weeks.
• Major construction work will be completed at the end of October 2019. Landscape work will continue through Spring 2020.
• Construction site clean-up in progress. 

Road Closure Reminder

A full road closure will be in place at Golden Gate Place through late October. 15^th Street will continue to be closed to southbound traffic at Ferguson Road with local access to Chloe Lane until the roundabout work is complete. Construction of the 15^th Street roundabout and sidewalk extension project is anticipated to be completed by Friday, November 1, pending installation of lights and no adverse weather conditions. It is anticipated that normal traffic flow will resume at that time. Intermittent flagging (however no lane closures) should be expected as landscape work continues after the roundabout is fully open.
