For the Week of November 18 – 24:

• NE Revere Avenue between NE Eighth Street and NE Seventh Street for a water service installation, single lane closure with flagging, Nov. 19, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• SW Century Drive between SW Simpson Avenue and SW Colorado Avenue for a mini roundabout construction, full road closure with detour, Sept. 9 – Nov. 27.

• Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project, Phase 2 – This project will provide water distribution system upgrades to the Awbrey Butte area with eight interrelated water improvement subprojects. For more information, visit the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project website.
  • Saginaw Avenue from West Hills Road to Juniper Street: Local access only.
  • Juniper Avenue from Saginaw Avenue to Trenton Avenue: Local access only.
  • Trenton Avenue from Juniper Street to 12th Street/Vicksburg Avenue: Local access only.
  • Portland Avenue from Ninth Street to First Street: Full road closure and local access only lasting through winter. Detour to use Ninth Street to Newport Avenue to Wall Street.

• Midtown Crossing Project (Second Street work) – A multiphase project that will replace the water main from Greenwood Avenue to Franklin Avenue in preparation for the full reconstruction occurring next spring. Phase 2 – 4 occurs from Oct. 21 – Spring 2025. Northbound lane closure with local access will occur in its entirety. Current road section work listed below.   • Second Street between NE Irving Avenue and NE Greeley Avenue.

• NW Harriman Street between NW Kearney Avenue and NW Greenwood Avenue for infrastructure work associated with the Deschutes County Courthouse, full road closure, began July 24.

Future Road Closures:

• NW Crossing Tree Lighting (special event) – Special event occurring Dec. 5, 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.. Full road closure with detour (listed below).
  • NW Crossing Drive between Mount Washington Drive and NW Fort Clatsop Street (Circle).

Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors. Always exercise increased caution within construction zones. Drivers should use designated detour routes. Nearby residential streets are for local traffic only.

Any road closure not listed within this report, please submit a service request to notify the city of any potentially unpermitted work within City right of way. Please visit the Transportation and Mobility Department to submit.
