Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – April 18, 2022

Don’t risk it; please wait until you arrive at your destination to answer a text.

OPEN HOUSE: 15^th STREET & WILSON AVENUE ROUNDABOUT

When: Wednesday, April 27, 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Where: Larkspur Community Center 1600 SE Reed Market Rd, Bend 

You are invited to an open house on April 27 to learn about the upcoming construction of the 15^th Street and Wilson Avenue Roundabout. Roundabout construction is anticipated to begin early summer of 2022. The project team will also share preliminary design plans for Wilson Avenue improvements between 9^th Street and 15^th Street.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR APRIL 18 – 22

Wilson Avenue Corridor Project – 9^th Street and Wilson Avenue Roundabout

• Preparations for pouring new sidewalks begins this week. 
• Installation of power conduits for streetlights continues.
• Crews are prepping to pour curbs the week of April 25.

DETOURS IN EFFECT

The 9^th Street/Wilson Avenue Intersection Remains Closed. The following detour remains in effect.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

• Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
• Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
• Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

• EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
• Please help us in spreading the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
• Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
• Please contact the project team if you are not the correct contact for your organization or if others need to be included.
