CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

15th Street Intersection Closure – February 20 Through Late April 2023 (weather permitting)

The intersection closure for the construction of the Wilson Avenue & 15th Street roundabout will begin February 20. The construction of the 15th Street roundabout is expected to be completed in April 2023, weather permitting.

Modernization of 9th Street to 15th Street – February 13 Through February 17

  • Crews will be excavating curbs on the north side of Wilson Avenue.
  • Storm catch basin and drywell installation work will continue.
  • Wall blocks will be installed for the future retaining wall for the roundabout at 15th Street.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

Please be prepared for flaggers coordinating traffic control and possible short delays around the intersection of Wilson Avenue and 15th Street. Drivers will have full access, and no significant impacts are anticipated to 15th Street until February 20, 2023.

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.

  • Please help us in spreading the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
  • EMS, buses, and other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
