Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – July 29, 2022
SAFETY FIRST
The new detour is in effect through October. Please slow down and follow traffic control signs (See detour details below).
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Modernization of 9th Street to 15th Street – August 1 Through August 5
- Crews will continue asphalt removal and street excavation work along Wilson Avenue between 9th Street and 15th Street.
Construction of the full project corridor is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2023.

DETOUR
Eastbound traffic on Wilson Avenue, between 9th Street and 15th Street, will be detoured at the end of July or early August. Access at 15th Street and Wilson Avenue will be maintained through October. Access remains open to all businesses.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES
- Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
- Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
- Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS
- EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
- Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
- Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
