Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – September 9, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

Please be safe navigating traffic changes: 

  • A temporary lane configuration change is in effect on Wilson Avenue. Westbound traffic remains open, and drivers are shifted to the newly paved road on the south side of Wilson Avenue. 
  • SE Bridgeford Boulevard is closed at SE Wilson Avenue through mid-October.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR SEPTEMBER 12 – SEPTEMBER 16

Modernization of 9th Street to 15th Street  

Westbound traffic will be maintained on Wilson Avenue through October.  

Drivers will have full access, and no significant impacts are anticipated to 15th Street until early March 2023. Construction of the entire project corridor is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2023.

  • Street excavation and curb work are ongoing. 
  • Crews will be installing new storm pipes and catch basins. 
  • Landscape and irrigation work will occur.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.

  • EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
  • Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
  • Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
