The Bend Municipal Airport relies heavily on funding from the FAA. In 2022, the FAA determined that an update to the Master Plan was warranted due to continuing increasing operations. The primary user and neighbors were key stakeholders in the planning process. The 2022 Master Plan documents are linked below.

Airport Master Plan Feedback

The Master Plan process includes feedback and suggestions from users and the public. No direct response will be sent to the submitters. This general information will be provided to the PAC, consultants, and city staff to be considered in the creation of the final document that will be submitted to the FAA. The City of Bend and the FAA determine the content of the Master Plan within a framework prescribed by the FAA. FAA acceptance is required before the process is complete.
