Awbrey Glen & Westside Pump Station Improvements

This project will provide needed electrical and pump improvements at two locations – Awbrey Glen Lift Station and Westside Lift Station.

Awbrey Glen Sewer Pump Station

Construction is currently scheduled to start in summer 2025*

Construction may cause minor, temporary traffic delays as equipment accesses the property but should not create major impacts to area residents.

Westside Sewer Pump Station

Phase 1 of the construction was completed in early 2025.
Phase 2 work is estimated to be completed in late fall 2025.*

Most work will occur on the Pump Station property. Some work will be completed along Portland Avenue from east of the bridge to the intersection of NW Wall Street and Portland Avenue. This work is expected to be complete in about eight weeks. Additional driveway work may be completed in fall 2025.

Construction may cause minor, temporary traffic delays with lane shift with signage and flaggers.
Periodic equipment access to the property but should not create major impacts to area residents.

Westside Sewer Pump Station

The City of Bend is beginning design for improvements to the Westside sewer pump station located at 35 NW Portland Avenue (see map below). The project will include mechanical and electrical upgrades, construction of a backup pump system, driveway improvements, security fencing, and landscaping. This project will increase the station’s safety and reliability.

Awbrey Glen Sewer Pump Station

The City of Bend has started design for improvements to the Awbrey Glen sewer pump station located along Putnam Road at the Awbrey Glen Golf Course (see map below). The project will include construction of a 200 square feet electrical controls building, a new emergency generator and additional paving and landscaping. This project will improve the pump station’s safety and reliability.

This project is funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF)
