NW Greenwood Avenue
NW Greenwood Avenue between NW Wall Street and NW Hill Street for overnight
work, including paving, related to the Deschutes County Courthouse, single
lane closure with lane shift and flagging, April 8 – 9.
NW Tumalo Avenue
NW Tumalo Avenue between NW Riverfront Street and NW Broadway Street for
aerial utility work, moving lane closure with flagging, April 6 – 17.
NW Brooks Street
NW Brooks Street at NW Oregon Ave, closed for street paving, April 8.
Empire Avenue
Empire Avenue between NE Butler Market Road and NE Purcell Boulevard for
paving, bike lane closure, April 9.
Fargo Lane
Fargo Lane between Perrigan Drive and Orion Drive for sewer installation work
for the City’s King Hezekiah and Fargo Sewer Project.
* The Perrigan Drive and Fargo Lane intersection will be closed with local and emergency access only, April 3 – 13.

Nels Anderson Place
Nels Anderson Place between N Highway 97 and Nels Anderson Road for
infrastructure installations, single lane closure with flagging, April 2 –
April 8.

Nels Anderson Road between Robal Lane and NE Terra Park Drive for
infrastructure installations, single lane closure with flagging, April 2 –
April 8.
NE Purcell Boulevard
NE Purcell Boulevard between US Highway 20 and Bear Creek Road for
infrastructure installations, full road closure with detour, March 30 – May
29.
Pettigrew Road
Pettigrew Road between Juniper Haven Road and Woodhaven Avenue for frontage
improvements, full road closure with detour, March 30 – April 16.
Intersection of SW Atwood Drive and Ponderosa Street
Intersection of SW Atwood Drive and Ponderosa Street for stormwater and water
main infrastructure work, full closure of the intersection with detour,
February 23 – End of May.
Ponderosa Street
Ponderosa Street at the intersection with SW Atwood Drive will have stormwater
and water infrastructure installation, full road closure with detour, February
23 – May 29.
Ferguson Road
Ferguson Road between Magnolia Drive and 27th Street will have infrastructure
upgrades, single lane closure with eastbound traffic only, February 2 – May
29.
Bear Creek Road
Bear Creek Road between Dantili Way and the canal crossing to the east for
infrastructure work, full road closure with detour, February 2 – Early April.
Magnolia Lane
Magnolia Lane between Hearthstone Lane and Ferguson Road will have
infrastructure improvements, full road closure with local access only, October
6 – April 30.
Butler Market Corridor Improvements
This project will design and construct a new single lane roundabout at the
intersection of Butler Market Road and Wells Acres Road, and pedestrian and
bicycle improvements on Butler Market Road between Boyd Acres Road and Brinson
Boulevard. Project is anticipated to occur from September 22 – Late fall 2026.
Roadway impacts:
* Butler Market Road between NE Brinson Boulevard and NE 8th Street will have a westbound lane closure with detour.
Butler Market Road Project
NW Harriman Street
NW Harriman Street between NW Kearney Avenue and NW Greenwood Avenue for
infrastructure work associated with the Deschutes County Courthouse, full road
closure.
Bend Marathon (Special Event)
Bend Marathon (special event) – This special event includes a 5K, 10K, half &
full marathon. The event will use City streets with various road closures and
flagging within Northwest Bend. Expect various detours and delays. Event to
take place April 12, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
FUTURE ROAD CLOSURES
Salmon Run (special event)
Salmon Run (special event) – This special event includes a 5K, 10K, and half
marathon. The event will primarily use City sidewalks and BPRD trails,
crossing a higher-classification street with the use of certified flaggers
(streets listed below). Event to take place April 18.
* NW Galveston Avenue between NW Harmon Boulevard and NW Riverfront Street.
Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors. Always
exercise increased caution within construction zones. Drivers should use
designated detour routes. Nearby residential streets are for local traffic
only.
Any road closure not listed within this report, please submit a service
request to notify the city of any potentially unpermitted work within City
right of way. Please visit the Transportation and Mobility
Department to submit.
