Columbia Roundabout Improvements Project Update – June 10, 2021

SAFETY FIRST

There will be heavier traffic in and out of the job site, with trucks delivering the aggregate for the sub-surface. Please allow additional clearance for the trucks as they may use a wider turn radius than normal when turning onto Columbia Ave. or Simpson Ave.

Simpson Ave./Columbia St. Scheduled Construction – Week of June 9-14

  • Relocation of irrigation boxes.
  • Installation of stormwater basins.
  • Set and pour northeast sidewalk
  • Beginning of laying the subgrade of the roadway. 

DETOURS IN EFFECT 

Current Road Closures

  • Simpson Ave and Columbia Intersection

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

  • Business Access will remain open on all legs of this project affected by the detour.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • There are multiple construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.
