Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – March 02, 2023

SAFETY FIRST

Traffic in and around the construction corridor continues to be a safety concern. Please use the designated detour routes and avoid cutting through neighborhoods. 

Week of March 6 Through March 10

• Curbs will be poured along 15^th Street and the future roundabout. 
• Crews will continue constructing storm drain maintenance holes and catch basins.
• Excavation work continues on the intersection of 15^th Street and Wilson Avenue. 
• Crews expect to finish pouring curbs and sidewalks along Wilson Avenue between Manley Avenue and 15^th Street.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

15^th Street Intersection Closure – February 20 Through Late April 2023 (weather permitting)

The intersection of Wilson Avenue and 15^th Street is closed through late April, weather permitting, for the construction of the 15^th Street roundabout.

NORTHBOUND DETOUR
Take 15^th Street to Reed Market Road. Turn right on 9^th Street. Turn right on Franklin Avenue. Turn right on 10^th Street (turns into Bear Creek Road).

SOUTHBOUND DETOUR
Take Wilson Avenue to 3^rd Street. Turn left on 3^rd Street. Turn left on Reed Market Road.

EASTBOUND DETOUR
Take Wilson Avenue to 9^th Street.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES 

• Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
• Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
• Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

• Please help us in spreading the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
• EMS, buses, and other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
