Urban Renewal Advisory Board Meeting #6
The next Urban Renewal Advisory Board (URAB) meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 11 from Noon – 3 p.m. at the Bend Municipal Court located at 555 NE 15th Street.
The URAB #6 Meeting Agenda and Packet are now posted on the URAB webpage. At this meeting, the Board will discuss a summary of the Draft Urban Renewal Finance Plan to determine financial feasibility of forming a new Urban Renewal District in the Core Area as well as the Draft Implementation Plan for the Core Area including a summary of implementation actions intended to support the vision and guiding principles for the area.
- Keep in mind parking for the meeting is limited. Parking is available across the street at Lava Lanes parking lot, northwest corner. (see link for map).
- Please allow enough time to park and walk across to the Court and please be careful crossing 15th.
You can also submit public comments to the board by emailing URAB@bendoregon.gov by Noon on Tuesday, December 10.
In addition, the City Council directed staff to proceed with developing development code amendments for the Bend Central District code (PZ-19-861), based on a recommendation from URAB.
The City will host a joint work session with the Planning Commission at their meeting on Monday, December 9 in Council Chambers to review proposed amendments.
The Work Session is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. More information can be found on the Planning Commission December 9 Agenda.
