Drake Pump Station Weekly Update – October 01, 2020

Night Activities to Begin Monday, October 5, at 4 a.m.

Work activities to occur Monday, October 5 starting at 4 a.m. as part of the efforts to abandon the existing pump station. Early work hours allow for activities to take place when wastewater flows are lowest. 

This is an isolated event. Normal work hours to return afterward.

  • K & E Excavating construction crews will be working on upgrading the pump station.
  • Active Culture is open during construction.
  • Work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
  • The Drake pump station upgrade is scheduled to be completed in November 2020.
  • Construction is dependent on weather conditions and other factors.

  • Please stay out of work zones and away from construction equipment. Excavated areas are considered unsafe for yourself, children, and pets.
  • Walk and bicycle in designated areas only. 
  • Access to the construction area is limited to construction workers.
  • Do not remove barriers or warning signs/warning tape or fencing.
