Newport Corridor Improvements Project Update – July 29, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

Construction zones can be highly active areas. Project personnel have specific training and experience when walking through the construction area and are looking for moving equipment, trucks, and other obstacles. Please avoid walking through the construction zone unless you are directed by a crew member. Unexpected pedestrians and vehicles can cause dangerous situations not only for themselves but can distract project personnel and impact their safety awareness while completing their tasks.
