Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – August 5, 2022
SAFETY FIRST
Crews will be working on Saturday, August 6.
The project area is a work zone. Pedestrians and bicyclists are asked to follow designated routes. Please stay aware of your surroundings as construction equipment is continuously moving. Motorists should follow the designated detour signs, avoiding using private driveways and parking lots in attempts to bypass the construction.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Modernization of 9th Street to 15th Street – August 8 Through August 12
- Street excavation work continues.
- Crews will begin placing base rock in preparation for pouring curbs and sidewalks.
- Streetlight prep continues with the placement of conduit.
- Crews will continue digging and installing drywells.
Construction of the full project corridor is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2023.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES
- Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
- Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
- Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

- EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
- Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
- Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
