Go Electric! Sparking Conversation Around Energy Efficiency
Go Electric! is a free community workshop series designed to help community members understand ways to reduce their energy emissions and create a more comfortable home. Energy use (from heating and cooling homes, cooking food and powering transportation) is one of the largest sources of local climate pollution, and transitioning to efficient, electric solutions is central to Bend’s Community Climate Action Plan.
Through interactive workshops led by trusted local and statewide partners, Go Electric! demystifies electrification, addresses common misconceptions and connects people to real resources, incentives and next steps.
All workshops are open to and welcome the entire community. Come enjoy some free food, chat with your neighbors, and learn from subject matter experts how to reduce emissions, improve health, and build a more affordable, resilient energy future together. The first hour of each workshop will feature presentations from our speakers, and the last hour will be dedicated to Q&A time.
Take a look at the workshop offerings below and come join us for any and all sessions that peak your interest! If you plan to attend via virtually, you will have to register via the link provided. If you plan to attend in-person, you do not need to register.
