Spring 2023 Modifications to the Old Bend Parking District

Spring 2023 Modifications to the Parking District

  • Expand Time-limited parking areas – include more 2hr / 3hr / 4hr parking areas
  • Modified Visitor Pass program
  • One-sided parking in some areas to allow for safer streets and better traffic flow
  • Parking compliance will be monitored (enforced) daily from 8am to 8pm
  • Uniform and updated sign program that is part of a new city-wide parking sign program

Nothing changes for People with a Residential Parking Permit, and they will continue to park on all streets in the Parking District except in “No Parking” or otherwise signed locations.

Visitor Pass Program

For this program, Visitors are people visiting people who live in the parking district.
Visitors can utilize the time-limited areas without the need of a visitor pass. On streets or blocks thar are completely “permit parking only” parking, visitors will be given a 2-hour grace period. We will not give this grace period on streets that are permit only on one side and time limited on the other side.
Visitors passes for visitors staying longer than the posted time limits are available for purchase to people living in the parking district via the online permit portal, phone or at the parking office. Generally, all visitor passes will be virtual passes based on a vehicles license plate number. Printed passes will be made available to those who prefer them.

  • One-day passes are $5 each per vehicle
  • Two-week passes are $25 per vehicle

Events At Residences

A Special Event permit for people hosting an event at their house or residence is available for purchase to people living in the parking district via the online permit portal, phone or at the parking office.
A special event permit will be issued for the entire street/area of the residence and parking enforcement will not conduct parking compliance checks during the specified time.

  • Special Event permits are $10 per event
