Murphy/Parrell intersection closure for construction

The Murphy Road and Parrell Road intersection in southeast Bend will be closed to all traffic beginning Tuesday, January 26. All traffic will be detoured during the closure and travelers are advised to use alternate routes.

The City of Bend is constructing a new roundabout at the intersection of Murphy Road and Parrell Road to improve transportation safety and mobility. In addition to the roundabout, new stormwater infrastructure will be constructed to alleviate the current flooding problem at the intersection. The project has also been coordinated to include completion of the southernmost portion of the Southeast Interceptor sewer line project. The intersection at Murphy Road and Parrell Road will be closed from January 26 until fall of 2016.
