Room tax increase and lodging registration information

On November 5, 2013, voters passed Measure 9-94 to increase the City of Bend transient room tax (TRT). Effective June 1, 2014, the TRT for Bend will increase from nine percent to 10 percent. On June 1, 2015, the TRT will increase one more time to 10.4 percent.

If you are a temporary lodging provider, such as a hotel, motel or vacation rental owner, please update your accounting systems to reflect this increase. The additional revenue from your guests will be used by Visit Bend for tourism promotion to attract more visitors to Bend and also to help pay for City public safety services.
