Traffic delays next week for pavement restoration
Sections of Brookswood Blvd., Purcell Blvd. and Butler Market Rd. are scheduled for pavement restoration work as part of the City of Bend 2012 Street Maintenance Program. Projects include grinding of failed asphalt and pre-leveling the roadway. Repairs will take place August 13 through August 16. During this time, two-way traffic will be maintained and personnel will be in place to help control traffic. Travelers should expect delays or plan alternate routes.
Construction Schedule
Project dates are estimates based on favorable conditions; variances may occur due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
• August 15: Purcell Blvd. (Empire Blvd. – Butler Market Rd.)
Alternating two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers – expect delays
• August 16: Butler Market Rd. (8th St. – 4th St.)
Road section will be closed during a 2–4 hour portion of the project – use detour
Work Zone Information
