Bear Creek & 27th Street Project Update – Aug 29, 2025

BEAR CREEK ROAD AND 27th STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Concrete flat work, island installation, and paving will be completed during this two-week period. Work on 27th Street will continue with more concrete pours and asphalt path paving. Please be sure to use the marked detour to navigate around the closure at Bear Creek Road, Pettigrew Road, and Purcell Boulevard.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Weeks of September 1-5 and September 8-12

  • Concrete forming and pouring for ADA ramps on 27th Street will continue
  • Paving for the path on 27th Street will continue
  • Curb, sidewalk, and island installation for the roundabout will continue
  • Final grading for the roundabout paving
  • Roundabout paving will begin
  • Landscaping for the roundabout will begin

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • There will be no work on Labor Day, September 1 
  • There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.
