Newport Corridor Improvements Project Update – February 10, 2023
SAFETY FIRST
ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, NORMAL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM TO FINISH UP SOME CRITICAL SEWER WORK.
Construction zones can be highly active areas. Project personnel have specific training and experience when walking through the construction area and are looking for moving equipment, trucks, and other obstacles. Unexpected pedestrians and vehicles can cause dangerous situations for not only themselves but can distract project personnel and impact their safety awareness while completing their tasks.
