Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – July 29, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

The new detour is in effect through October. Please slow down and follow traffic control signs (See detour details below).

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Modernization of 9^th Street to 15^th Street – August 1 Through August 5

• Crews will continue asphalt removal and street excavation work along Wilson Avenue between 9^th Street and 15^th Street.

Construction of the full project corridor is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2023.

DETOUR

Eastbound traffic on Wilson Avenue, between 9^th Street and 15^th Street, will be detoured at the end of July or early August. Access at 15^th Street and Wilson Avenue will be maintained through October. Access remains open to all businesses.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

• Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
• Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
• Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

• EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
• Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
• Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
