Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – July 25, 2022

SAFETY FIRST

A new detour goes into effect the week of July 25. Through October, eastbound traffic on Wilson Avenue, between 9^th Street and 15^th Street, will be detoured via Franklin Avenue and Bear Creek Road. Access at 15^th Street and Wilson Avenue will be maintained.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Modernization of 9^th Street to 15^th Street

Improvements along Wilson Avenue between 9^th Street and 15^th Street will begin the week of July 25. Through October, eastbound traffic between 9^th Street and 15^th Street on Wilson Avenue will be detoured via Franklin Avenue and Bear Creek Road.

Improvements include modernization of the east side of 9^th Street to 15^th Street, including new sidewalks and bike lanes.

Construction of the full project corridor is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2023.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

• Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
• Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
• Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

• EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
• Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
