Newport Corridor Improvements Project Update – July 22, 2022
SAFETY FIRST
Due to the weather forecast in Central Oregon, the City of Bend has approved early work hours on the Newport Corridor Improvement project, following recommendations and guidelines from OSHA to adjust work hours to the coolest part of the day. This notice is subject to be extended if high temperatures persist. The safety of crew members is the number one concern and working in the mornings with cooler temperatures allows for construction to continue safely. You may hear large equipment operating within the hours listed below. Sound levels will be within the designated decibel levels of a construction zone. Please share the following information with members of your household.
Adjusted work hours
Estimated Duration: Monday, July 25, 2022, through Friday, July 29, 2022, and Monday, August 1, 2022, through Friday, August 5, 2022.
