Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – June 27, 2022
SAFETY FIRST
The roundabout at 9th Street & Wilson Avenue is set to open to traffic after 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 30. Expect to see crews continuing to work in the roundabout area through early July as we complete this phase of the project. Please stay safe by staying out of the construction zone.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR JUNE 27 – JULY 1
Wilson Avenue Corridor Project – 9th Street & Wilson Avenue Roundabout
- The roundabout is set to open to traffic after 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 30.
- Bike protection devices will be installed.
- Crews will finish work on the sewer lateral and block walls.
- Striping work will take place.
- Landscape and irrigation work will continue through early July.
- Light poles are anticipated to be installed on Saturday, June 25

DETOURS IN EFFECT
The 9th Street/Wilson Avenue Intersection Remains Closed through 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 30.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES
- Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
- Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
- Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

- EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
- Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
- Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
