Wilson Avenue Corridor Project Update – June 9, 2022
SAFETY FIRST
The last day of school is Thursday, June 16. Please expect more foot and bike traffic in neighborhoods and residential areas as school-age children look to take advantage of the warm weather and longer daylight hours.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR JUNE 13 – JUNE 17
Wilson Avenue Corridor Project – 9th Street and Wilson Avenue Roundabout
- Crews will begin preparation work for paving.
- Sidewalk prep work will continue.
- Landscape and irrigation work will continue, including the placement of rock and boulders.
- Sidewalks, driveways, and curbs will continue to be poured.
The construction of the 9th Street and Wilson Avenue roundabout is anticipated to be completed by the end of June 2022.
DETOURS IN EFFECT
The 9th Street/Wilson Avenue intersection remains closed.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES
- Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
- Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
- Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

- EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
- Please help us spread the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
- Share the project website information (provided below), where others can also sign up for updates.
