Open House: 15th Street & Wilson Avenue Roundabout

When: Wednesday, April 27, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: Larkspur Community Center 1600 SE Reed Market Rd, Bend

You are invited to an open house on April 27 to learn about the upcoming construction of the 15th Street and Wilson Avenue Roundabout. Roundabout construction is anticipated to begin in early summer 2022. The project team will also share preliminary design plans for Wilson Avenue improvements between 9th Street and 15th Street.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FOR APRIL 11 – 15

Wilson Avenue Corridor Project – 9th Street and Wilson Avenue Roundabout

  • Crews will continue building the road sub-base and begin laying down the base rock.
  • Continued installation of power conduits for streetlights.
  • Crews will begin installing new connections for water service lines and fire lines.
  • Existing utilities that are in conflict will be moved this week and next week.

DETOURS IN EFFECT

The 9th Street/Wilson Avenue Intersection Remains Closed. The following detour remains in effect.

GENERAL PROJECT NOTES

  • Access to all area businesses along the construction area will be maintained.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

PROJECT COMMUNICATIONS

  • EMS, buses, and many other delivery/service providers have been included on this distribution list.
  • Please help us in spreading the word to your clients, customers, and delivery personnel regarding detouring and closures.
