Construction Activities – Week of November 15
- Crews will continue finish work on sidewalks and the bridge overcrossing in preparation for the November 18 bridge opening.
- Striping work will occur on the Murphy Road extension.
- Landscape work continues with hydroseeding planned in late November.
- Crews will continue fencing and rail work on the bridge overcrossing.
- Construction work will continue through the end of the year along Brosterhous Road under the railroad bridge on the sidewalk and sewer extension.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
The northbound lane of Brosterhous Road is closed between Murphy Road and Knott Road through the end of December (the southbound lane is now open). The closure is for the construction of a shared-use path for bikers and pedestrians under the railroad bridge and for a sewer extension project. The new sidewalk will connect to existing sidewalks to the north and south and create a safe passage under the railroad bridge. The timing of the project is based on permits issued by BNSF Railway.
