Crews may be working Saturdays on the BNSF bridge overcrossing and Murphy Road extension.

Upcoming Closure

A one-week full road closure is planned on Brosterhous Road to vehicle traffic at the railroad crossing between Murphy Road and Knott Road the week of November 1. The project includes the installation of a shared-use path sidewalk for pedestrians and bikes under the railroad bridge that will connect to existing sidewalks to the north and south. Also included in the work is an extension of the sewer line within Brosterhous Road. To view a map and learn more, visit bendoregon.gov/murphyproject.

Construction Activities – Week of October 18

  • Crews will continue installing pedestrian lightboxes and railings on the BNSF bridge.
  • Crews will stain retaining walls on the BNSF bridge and concrete on the west bridge abutment.
  • Construction crews will prep Murphy Road overpass sidewalks for concrete and finish rock work for paving.
