Columbia Roundabout Improvements Project Update – August 20, 2021

SAFETY FIRST

As we near the end of construction, continue to follow all road closure signs. Once the roundabout is safe for public traffic, crews will remove all traffic control devices, officially opening the roundabout for use.

Construction Update

Opening of the Simpson Ave. & Columbia St. roundabout is scheduled for August 27, 2021

Simpson Avenue/Columbia Street Scheduled Construction

Week of August 20 – August 25

  • Landscaping of inner circle and street-side planters of the roundabout
  • Striping of roadway
  • Sign installation
  • Sealing of concrete and pavement joints.

Current Road Closures

  • Simpson Ave and Columbia Intersection

  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
