Murphy Corridor Improvements Project Update – July 2, 2021

Thank you for your interest in the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project.

In observance of Independence Day, no construction activity will occur on July 5.

Construction Activities – Week of July 5

  • Crews will install rock mulch in the Country Club roundabout.
  • Landscape and irrigation work will continue along Murphy Road.
  • Work is progressing on the BNSF Railway bridge with the installation edge of deck forms and reinforcement steel.
  • Work will continue on the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls along the future extension.
  • Backfill work will continue on the BNSF Railway bridge abutment for the future Murphy Road extension connecting Brosterhous Road to 15th Street.
  • Installation of storm drywells and maintenance holes along Murphy Road continues.
