Columbia Roundabout Improvements Project Update – June 16, 2021

SAFETY FIRST

Keep out of closed roadways and construction areas. Open trenches, large equipment, and crew members onsite make entering the closed roadways in a vehicle or on foot a safety risk to both the public and the construction crews. Please follow all established detour routes.

Simpson Avenue/Columbia Street Scheduled Construction – Week of June 16 – June 23

  • Tying in the hydrant to newly configured water lines
  • Storm Water structures and pipes are being installed

Current Road Closures 

  • Simpson Ave and Columbia Intersection

  • Business Access will remain open on all legs of this project affected by the detour.
  • Please do not enter the construction zone before, during, or after hours.
  • There are multiple construction projects in the area and throughout the city of Bend. Travel safely.
