Empire Corridor Improvements Project Update – May 13, 2021

Please Use Detour Route Around Construction Zone

  • The intersection at NE Purcell Blvd and NE Butler Market Road is closed for roundabout construction.
    • There will be no access allowed for vehicles, bicycles, or pedestrians during construction.
  • Modernization of NE Purcell Blvd between NE Butler Market Road and the NUID canal will be finished this summer.
    • This section of the roadway will be open to local traffic/area residents only.
  • Detours in place during construction.
  • Construction is dependent on weather and other factors.

Please Do Not Enter the Construction Zone at Any Time!

  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. Closures are in effect at all times.
  • Please keep children and pets away from the construction zone.
  • There are many construction projects in the area and throughout the City of Bend. Travel safely.
