Murphy Corridor Improvements Project Update – May 10, 2021

Week of May 10 Construction Activities

• Crews will pour concrete for the west bridge abutment walls on the extension of Murphy Road over the BNSF Railway. The work is expected to take place on Tuesday, May 11, and requires extended work hours between 5:00 AM and 6:30 PM
• Preparation work will continue in advance of the paving of Murphy Road.
• Sidewalks and driveway work continues.
• Landscape and irrigation work will continue.

Traffic Reminder

The south and east leg of the Murphy Road/Country Club Drive roundabout are open. Murphy Road is one way from Country Club Drive to Parrell Road (local access only).

Westbound Detour: Take Murphy Road to Country Club Drive. Turn right on Knott Road. Turn right on China Hat Road. Turn right on Parrell Road.

Eastbound Detour: Take Murphy Road to Parrell Road. Continue on Parrell Road, turn right on Brosterhous Road, and follow to stop sign. Turn right on Brosterhous Road and follow through Brosterhous Roundabout to Murphy Road.
