Murphy Corridor Improvements Project Update – April 24, 2020
Thank you for your interest in the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project.
This week is National Work Zone Awareness Week. Motorists are encouraged to slow to posted speed limits, eliminate distractions while driving, and be watchful for roadway workers and their equipment. This request is ever important with the current use of the bypass road, which is in close proximity to construction activities and posted at a reduced speed of 25 miles per hour.
Please join us in showing support for the men and women who work tirelessly to keep our roads safe.
Construction Activities for the Upcoming Week
- Utility work continues along Murphy Road, between Brosterhous Road and Country Club Drive.
- Final site clean-up and landscaping continues near the Brosterhous Road and Murphy Road intersection.
- Bypass road maintenance to continue providing east and west travel lanes around the construction area. Please drive cautiously and safely.
