Murphy Corridor Improvements Project Update – April 16, 2020
Thank you for your interest in the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project.
Modernization improvement work on Murphy Road is underway between Brosterhous Road and Country Club Drive. The improvements will take place between April 2020 and late August 2020 and include the construction of a three-lane roadway with bike lanes, sidewalks, and safe crossings.
A temporary two-lane bypass road on the north side of Murphy Road is now open. The bypass road will be used through late June to accommodate traffic around the Murphy Road construction area.
Construction activities for the upcoming week include:
- Crews will continue site clean-up in the Brosterhous Road and Murphy Road roundabout area.
- As part of the modernization improvements on Murphy Road, utility work will begin between Brosterhous Road and Country Club Drive.
