Empire Corridor Improvements Project Weekly Update – April 2, 2020

The Intersections of 27th Street & Butler Market Road and Deschutes Market Road & Butler Market Road Will Be Closed Beginning Monday, April 13 to Allow Roundabout Construction to Continue

  • Starting Monday, April 13, major detours will be in place to accommodate roundabout construction at the intersections of 27th St & Butler Market Rd, and Deschutes Market Rd & Butler Market Rd. 
    • Roundabouts are expected to open mid-September.
  • Access to businesses near the intersection of 27th St & Butler Market Rd will remain open.

Nasu Park Loop, Marys Grace Lane, and Monticello Estates Neighborhoods to Have Access Changes Beginning Monday, April 13

Closures at the intersections of Butler Market Rd & 27th St, and Butler Market Rd & Deschutes Market Rd will change access for many residents. Residents of Nasu Park Loop and Marys Grace Ln will access the short stretch of Butler Market Rd that is open via Sandalwood Dr. Residents of Monticello Estates will access their neighborhood from Deschutes Market Rd north of Monticello Dr.

Daniel Road and Nolan Street Closed at Butler Market Road Starting Monday, April 13

Use alternate routes to access 27th Street.
